the masthead

I have chosen the title 'BONBON' for my magazine, because when I am making successful artworks, or when I am looking at other art pieces, I feel like I am sugar-high - and maybe other artists/ art fanatics think the same way. At first, I thought of naming my magazine 'SUGAR', but I later found out that there is a somewhat famous magazine already named 'Sugar', which also had a similar aesthetic to what I'm aiming for.

The process of finding a suitable font was difficult, as I've looked through hundreds of them on dafont.com and 1001fonts.com - looking for what I specifically wanted. I have selected 18 fonts to try in PhotoShop on a pink background (one of the colours which I want to include in the palette of my magazine).

I chose to go with the 11th one, as it relates best with what I want to express through my magazine articles/photos, it is clear, bold, and interestingly shaped.
