a) IDEA & CONCEPT - research and motivation
My first photoshoot will offer me options of photos to showcase on the cover or table of contents, as we are going in the city for the photoshoot, and the images that I will take would be to similar to make up a strong editorial to be presented in my double spread. It is meant to look 'edgy', representative of teen culture in Romania.
b) MODELS
- Yidi: she is a friend of mine which is in my media class. I chose her because her look fits the aesthetic that I am aiming for in my magazine, portraying today's youth. My magazine is all about self-expression and empowerment, and today's youth is tomorrow's future, so it is worth both empowering them as well as showing them examples of good influential people, so that they can aim to be better.
c) PROPS & COSTUME
I did not have any props prepared for this photoshoot, because I think that I would prefer for Yidi to come dressed as she wishes - an expression of free will.
d) PHOTOSHOOT PLANNING
Here is a picture of some sketches I did in order to contour better my end in mind with the photoshoot planned. It contains pictures I aim to take during my first photoshoot (they are just a couple of poses, zoom in/out, as well as intense/playful expressions).
e) LOCATION OPTIONS
- in the city
- smaller streets with fewer people
- vandalized walls
- a skate park.
