digital collage - summer vibes

I took this picture in summer 2016, when I visited Greece with my best friend. We had just returned to our hotel from the beach, she had sea salt in her hair and I thought it looked beautiful. So I took the picture, and I have found it again somewhere in a folder on my laptop, and I chose to edit it.

I adjusted the temperature, as well as the contrast - as well as the clarity so that the sea salt pops out.

I browsed through tumblr and found a picture of a beach which matched the atmosphere in the photo of my friend's hair, and I chose to place it on the lenses of the glasses for it to look like a reflection of what is in front of her.

I do like the end result. I am aware that it doesn't look real, however, I wasn't going for a realistic piece in the first place, I just wanted to create a creative media work in order to commemorate my trip to Greece with my best friend.
